Itinerary

1st Day
Arrival at Catania airport and meeting with our scort. Transfer by private coach to the selected charming hotel. Welcome dinner based on typical Sicilian food. Overnight.

2nd Day
Breakfast at hotel and departure to volcano Etna. Visit to the extinct craters of "Silvestri Mountain" (1000 meters) and possibility to go up to the main craters by jeep. Proceed to Santa Venerina and visit to a famous ancient cellar producing Sicilian wines. A brunch based on typical foods will be served in the panoramic terrace together with wine tasting of local wines. Continue to Taormina and guided visit to the historical center with its magnificent Greek theatre. During the visit, people will have the possibility to taste the famous "granita" in one of the local ice-cream shops. Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

3rd Day
Breakfast at hotel and departure to the small village of Viagrande. A cooking lesson will be organized in a private house where the housewife will give us the welcome and explain us all the tricks of the Sicilian cooking. At the end of the lesson, people will eat what they have made. Back to the hotel free time for relax. Dinner at local restaurant, the magic atmosphere of this place will be unforgettable.

4th Day
Breakfast at hotel and departure to Ragusa. Visit to the little ancient center of Ibla and its baroque monuments. Proceed to Vittoria and visit to a local cellar famous for its excellent wines. Wine tasting and lunch based on typical foods: olives, cheese, salame, pasta, ricotta, cheese, bun and homemade bread. Continue to Modica with its nice baroque center. In the afternoon Chocolate tasting in the most famous "Parisserie" of this area. Accommodation at hotel. Dinner and overnight.

5th Day
Breakfast at hotel and departure to Piazza Armenia, visit to the archaeological site of "Villa Romana del casale" and its colored mosaics. Lunch in a farmhouse and proceed to Agrigento. Visit to the famous Valley of the Temples. Accommodation in a particular Baglio/Hotel. Dinner and overnight.

6th Day
Breakfast at hotel and departure to Trapani area. The itinerary of this day includes the visit to the Salt Museum in Paceco and continue through the salt way until Marsala where people could take the boat to the island of Mozia. Back to Marzala and visit to the saltpans of "Ettore e Infersa" where people will have lunch based on typical couscous of this area. Accommodation in a Baglio/Hotel. A candle light dinner will end this particular day.

7th Day
Breakfast at hotel and departure to Palermo. Full day visit to the main sites of the town including the Benedictine cloister of Monreale. During the excursion, stop in a noble ancient house of the historical center to relax themselves in the panoramic terrace tasting an aperitif. Accommodation at hotel. Farewell dinner at typical "trattoria", menu based on fish. Back to the hotel and overnight.

8th Day
Breakfast at hotel. Private transfer to the airport. End of our services.
